finally got around to it - here are a couple of pics of my golf with its external roll cage (aka roof racks) that seem permanent these days, and its extra external covering of silt that hasn't been removed since the latest round of water restrictions have been in force!

i guess you would say it is 'late 90's style' - since it is the last time i managed to modify anything on it!

it's a US spec GTI badge that i replaced the std golf vr6 with - picked it up some years ago passing by a dealer in canada

lowering achieved by sitting on spax springs

re the wheels - i am testing a new protective coating on the wheels - it is self applying - you just have to keep driving and whatever you do don't clean them! eventually they should be colour coded to match the body
