Can I ask you himalj, I'm thinking about getting the Apr ecu but do u get traction lol ? Because I cherp in 2nd gear stand still now !. So just asking on some feedback ?

I've had the ECU upgrade for a couple of days now, and wow ! what an amazing improvement in all areas, highly recommend getting it done

aside from the increase in speed, it is a lot more responsive and i find it a lot smoother in a way, extremely happy with it

Got it done at BWA Auto in seven hills, took only an hour to get it done and APR ECU is doing 15% off special till 24/12/12

wow awsome well now I am thinking about doing it sunday lol
before I do.... Do you know if it voids the VW service? and is it a pigyback of the normal ecu which can come off and on ?. . is it possible to get the ecu before the 24th and install later on in the year ?
also if you're available tomorrow morning meeting at aurban kk's 830am a few of the golf.net forum boys are going for a cruise through the royal nasho it would be awsome if you can come along . I also will be taking a few pics of the cars and I would love to see your polo and see the difference from my stock polo if you don't mind.

Previous question you had was about the traction ? By that do you mean you get wheel spin from the ECU upgrade? Basically from stand still you have to be careful not to apply to much pressure as you will get wheel spin and loose traction, but once you get use to it , it's fine. Not sure if it voids VW service but i'm planing on doing my service at BWA auto which keeps the warranty as you don't have to go back to VW, BWA auto i believe are authorized service agents for VW so it will keep the warranty in tacked. Also APR are offering a service where you pay annually $100? or per service job they can put the ECU back to normal then once the service is done with VW they put it back on.

Let me know of any upcoming meets and i'll try to make it

yeah that's what I was thinking getting my service done somewhere else. not vw. I'm coming to my first service so need to find out where I can go. that's a good idea how they can put it back .

well the next one is going to be on the 16th Feb not sure what are doing but I'll keep u updated . it will be awesome to see your car in person to see the difference in the tune

I've seen this car on the road... Looks great. First time I'd seen black+detriots and it works awesome.

I should be down for the cruise on the 16th... should see if we can get the whole polo gang along again.
