just had all the kerbing sorted on my rims, stripped back to bare metal and then undercoat, two coats of dark metallic gunmetal and 2 coats of satin clearcoat.

Then 4 new 275/35/19 Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric2s mounted.

My advice is.. read lots.
There are lots of weird little gremlins with these cars but most are something small and easy to repair if you are handy.
There are heaps of tutorials on vwvortex and here.
Service history is most important
