Wonder if they are approved for use as i know there was a lot of issues on other forums with people trying to fit carbon stuff on JDM cars.

Weight saving is pretty good, guess Al already did the light weight wheels and brakes so he can't shave weight anywhere else except the back seats.

No issues with this quality CF hood. Perfect fitment.
I'm sourcing some hood pins though, don't want it flying off.
As for weight reduction, yes back seats, battery maybe.
I like my food too much, so no dieting

Can you still use your bonnet struts with the cf bonnet? I read somewhere that they can cause issues because they are valved for the heavier bonnet.
