Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Here's is my car that went to hell and back in pictures...
Purchased almost like this (excluding the wheels):

Turned into a Car Audio Demo car:

Almost drowned in the floods in QLD!! - ECU dead, interior soaked, wiring screwed, and a few other nasty things that needed to be fixed.
Then I began trying to bring it back to life... a little more conservative this time around!

And today: Almost there with getting everything back to the way it should be. Couple more bits and pieces to go.
Now fitted with VR6 Seats and original door trims (door trim thanks to Seb at Euro Automotive in Girraween). I also dumped the unreliable electric windows. Gone manual..Love it!

    More interior shots to follow.

This care with the black wheels looked awesome. The current wheels are good but IMHO Black wheels (of any sort) would look better.

Good Job though, saw this at the Nats this year and looked good
