Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Continuing with the carbon theme! Goes really well with the rear bumper, looks awesome.
    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
    Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

I dont know.. I don't want to hate on your car but I'm not a huge fan.. I think it's the wheels.. something just doesn't look right.

I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person though

                  some updated photos!

installed about 90% of the Neuspeed Thunder Bunny Suspension kit, only thing left is the front sway bar (a few weeks away).

Well, it's 90% installed in my car so it's time to share!

                  before

                  as it's going in

front difference before / after install (center of hub to wheel well)

rear difference before / after install (center of hub to wheel well)

                  straight off the hoist!

and after a few weeks of being rained on

you and me both! The Koni yellow adjustables and Neuspeed sport springs make a world of difference.

we've set the rear shocks on about 50%, fronts somewhere between 50%-75%!

definitly stiffer than stock, but not enough to hurt....

the misses hasn't even complained, so that has to be a good sign.

wanted to give this a try to be perfectly honest...

i didn't need to drop it heaps (still have to get into the coles parking lot), and the koni's are adjustable
