So we dyno'd Lora's car as above on a 33 degree day on Saturday and made a strong 219.3kw with plenty more left!

Big thank you to Arthur @ Exoticars Service Centrewho helped immensely to put the car altogether with the CTS K04 Kit and everything else involved..

Bit more tweaking and see what it gets from there i think!

Also for those who aren't aware, Lora's car made a 5 page spread in this months Volkswagen Magazine of Australia as well!

Fantastic effort guys - this GTI must be a rocket! Your mods and upgrades are tasteful and effective.

Awesome result, both on the dyno, and getting the opportunity of having the car placed in the magazine. Quality article. I would be very interested to see how you would fair down the quarter mile at WSID. Hands down, definitely one of my favourite MKVI GTI's cruising our Sydney streets.

Pretty sure I saw your old 9N3 Polo GTI the other day.

Unfortunately this year is a bit busier than most for us (wedding+new property search) so time has been almost non existent really which is why neither of us have really updated much

The only thing really to mention is Lora was lucky enough to get into another magazine, Volkswagen Driver Magazine UK which was cool. But otherwise i think the stock clutch isn't enjoying the K04 much and is due for an upgrade soon.

Never saw your reply Tim, or ill be honest i never checked the thread nor did Lora LOL. Its from dubaudi from years ago, only few of them float around.

Not much news, the stripes have been taken off quite a while back. However we will get some new ones again without any writing.

Looks a bit bland now without it after so long.

                    Update on behalf of Lora.

Firstly a big thank you again to Arthur & Mark @ Exoticars, whilst we were away they finished up a few things that were left wanting to be done on the car.

This was fitting an mFactory Helical LSD, new Bearings, USP Motorsports Steel Shifter Forks (in replacement of the brass shifter forks which are known to fail, and having fit the LSD it was a good idea to avoid any potential issues later on), a new SACHs Performance DMF Clutch Kit was also fitted at the same time as the OEM Clutch was heavily worn after the CTS Turbo K04 Installation. Lastly a H&R Sway Bar and minor service was also completed.

The DMF setup unlike my S3 SMF feels slightly heavier than stock but doesn't have any chatter (not that mine has barely any, but it is noticeable in comparative). The DMF Clutch does offer a higher torque rating so is much better suited for the uprated power from the K04 of course.

Few people have asked why did we choose the mFactory branded LSD, and there is no short answer. Combination of a good friend using them here, customer service, reviews and comparison. At the end of the day of course everyone chooses differently but definitely glad made the choice with this LSD (helical).

They do have LSD's to suit MK4/MK5/MK6 platform (inc Audi obviously).

The improvement is, no other way to say it fkn unbelievable! Obviously, LSD now you get more traction... but the feel and transformation on the MK6 GTI is incredible! Reminds me of when i got my LSD on the MK4, but of course the MK6 platform is so much better.

Definitely recommended for any modded mk6 and even more so for someone with K04!
