Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Why didnt you just put your Bridgestone's on!? You swapped a decent all round tyre for a not so great in the wet tyre!

              The rims look pretty nice.

                  Nice rims!!

They go well with the white on black colour scheme

Is a drop on the cards?

KW DDCs on the cards, the Australian distributor is so close to my office. Now it's just down to whether I'm willing to spend $3.3k or give up an arm.

                      Heheheheh

Have a look at Rev555 (Kevin's) Scirocco R.... that will tempt you

I have seen the KW DDC cheaper than that, there are many places you can get them cheaper.

Been hard pressed to find KW DDCs for Scirocco Rs at less than 3k landed. If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great!

Man, those look nice. Will those fit the Tiguan?

How much would a set of these cost, along with a set of Michelin Super Sports, say 255/40/19

That spec seems to be the closest to the original tyres supplied with the Tiguan.

Try these guys, I have dealt with them before and they ship pretty quickly. Provided you dont get hit by duty it should land for under 3K. They are pretty straight forward to fit and doesnt require a suspension specialist to play with damping and rebound. Its plug an play.
