  • My MKV Jetta 2.0TSI

So I bought my Jetta a couple of months ago and decided id post it up like everyone else.

    Day I got it:

Got roofracks for my old bike rack (not installed yet as its in storage and I havnt bothered to go get it):

And last weekend I debadged it and installed a black rear badge:

Ive also installed a black front badge but dont have any pictures. I plan on getting rid of all the chrome strips and getting a black grille. I also want to get smoked headlights and tails, and hopefully lower it when I get some more cash.

    Cheers!

Thanks guys im loving it. I came from a couple of cars. I had a 1966 notchback that I didnt do too much work on and my daily was a 2000 Subaru Liberty. I originally looked at VWs before the Subaru but ended up going with it because my brother owned one too.

Before I bought the Jetta I was also looking at 2002ish model Passat wagons just for something different, but decided to spend a bit more and get something a lot newer. In the end im totally happy with my decision. Hopefully ill get some more mods done soon!

Awesome stuff mate; I see that you're in Melbourne - if you're looking for some more grunt from the engine, shoot me a PM and I can give you some advice. I can also get you contacts for a customer of mine who has a mildly modified Mk V Jetta would be happy to tell you what some tuning can do for the car or perhaps even take you for a test drive.

Welcome mate. The Melbourne Jetta fold increases

I haven't seen a murdered Jetta in Melbourne so it'll be different.

Im glad theres more Jettas around I see so many modified golfs on the road I cant wait to see some Jettas.

I found a black grille on parts4euro that im thinking of buying and instead of painting the chrome strips im thinking of just getting them wrapped in black vinyl. Hopefully ill get that done in the next couple of months then I can focus on wheels/suspension when I get some money.
