These were called Ventos in Australia. We only got the Jetta nameplate with the Mk5s. Then, to add to the confusion, Mk4s were called Boras.

Ervywhere i go im told that the wheels look great on the Car i got it for 7k thats not bad considering it had done 110,000 ks when i got and it has ABS and Dual Airbags so many idiots on the road theese days you need saftey features and our hiways are only two lane lol

Haha it's all good mate, I didn't know jack about my car once upon a time There's a sticker located in the boot somewhere (mine's right under the boot lock latch) and there should be a paint code on it - you can look for the paint code HERE. Just something interesting to know if you feel like wasting 10 minutes of your life

yeah its a Golf sedan really but with a diffrent front same interior as a Golf but has armrest in the back.
