Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey all,

I've modified this post to compile a bunch of the pictures i've got of my R over the time. This is it in its current form.

    With the following mods:
    Milltek Non-res catback.
    KW V1 coils
    Gruvenparts adjustable control arms
Thule roof rack setup (I carry my bikes around, not just on there to be fullsik.)
    UNIbrace.
    ECS Poly bushes
    H&R 21mm adjustable swaybar.
    H&R wheel spacers-10mm front, 20mm rear.

It's due for it's 146'000km service, which Jmac is doing tomorrow, so she's getting up there in the odometer. Got some plans for it in the near future, starting with a lot of maintanance including:

    Front bar respray and shave.
*Headlining re-done as it's becoming ****ty.
    *Full LED bulb interior overhaul
    *New right hand headlight housing
    *Possibly LED tails
*Dent fixed in my roof that got put there due to me forgetting my bike was on the roof the first day i had them on and reversing into my carport.

Then it's onto wheels and a couple other bits! It's not the quickest car out there, but it sure as hell still puts a smile on my face when I hear that noise pouring out of the Milltek.

Not with this one, actually (forgot my light...), it's just a couple Strobes, but I just used photoshop to extend the highlights.
