Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • A Driving Diary - Picture Intensive

My love for these drives started when I owned an NA6 MX5, which I regrettably sold last October.

I've been trying to satisfy that need for a drive, working with what I've got.

    06/06/2010
Today, I decided to head out. Mostly to deviate from what I should be doing:
    working on my MK1.

    (really should've taken more photos!)

I hope to update this most weekends, I also hope to get my photography skills up to scratch.
Watch this space. Will include VW content next time around hopefully!

    - Jace.

Field shot is nice. All the other days are raining! I hate driving on those days. Keep practicing your photography, pics of the mk1 on a drive? Or is it on stilts.

Yeah but only locally. Sold it to a Canadian dude who mentioned all "the awesome chrome interior bits" you can get for them.

              Cheers guys.

One of those Merc pictures strangely reminds me of my ol Windows XP screen! Nice pics overall though. Thanks for sharing.

Just a Canon G11. Usually on 'auto' too

Only one this weekend, spent most of my time in the garage installing and adjusting the Raceland coilovers I received.

Made the Great Ocean Road my bitch today.

                        Top of the Otways.

Heading home (yes my car runs this cool)

                        Summary:

                        - FWD sucks.
                        - Apollo Bay is an overpriced ****-hole run by immigrants.
                        - Otways are pretty bloody green at this time of year.
                        - I'm an awesome in-car singer.
