The Valiant was rebuilt using mostly NOS parts I tracked down from around Australia and in Perth.
All panels bar roof and floor were new(hence no body moulds). All panels were gapped with a credit card to ensure consistancy.New rubbers etc were used throughout.
Interior was completely refurbished and all brightwork was restored.
        Mechanically is is very mild.
        5.2litre with four barrel,cam,extractors,dual exhaust,worked heads,ignition mods,shiftkitted auto transmission.
Reset rear springs, lowered all round Koni shocks, all new bushes.
Rebuilt brakes, finned drums on the rear.
Set up to be a cruiser rather than a bruiser.Had a 6 Pack Charger prior to this Valiant.
Still have enough NOS parts to build a few more Vals !

At present I am going through tuning the blue VXR.
Red VXR may never return home I feel.
Looking at replacing it with another VXR or an A3 2.0T Sportback.

The Polo may have to stay standard as it is a work car....really like it though, but would be nicer lowered !

this might sound like a peculiar question, but howcome you have two of precisely the same car?

              Not weird question at all.
I bought the blue one new.
Red one came up for sale when I was looking to replace another car for my girlfriend, price was good mileage was low so I bought it.
I did have more than one Valiant at one stage also, although one was the wagon and one was a sedan .
Most people seem to think it strange I have more than one car.....although those same people all have more than one child and don`t think that is strange.

Each to their own I say !

Indeed,I know someone with an E49 Charger and over the past 13 years I have pestered him to part with it.
It is now out of my league $ wise....for $180,000 I would rather a near new Porsche !
