  • Just love my GTi!

Redgie, my GTi is still going well, looking good and is possibly to get some springs ect later this year. Cant help taking pics at times!
Stickers are on there from the easter "Bug In" event held down here in Hobart.
As far as the judging went though it lost to a 3 month Jetta from Qld.
Bit weird as they didnt even look inside it or under the bonnet??? WTF?
Well, I know now for the next show, stay at home? Or dont bother cleaning Redgie!!!
    Cheers, Andrew

Love it Andrew, thats awesome. I had two Oettinger badges on my car at one time then gave them the flick not as big as yours though

Can't believe the judges your car should have one.

Hey Steve and George, thanks fellas.
I am not sure of the judging, maybe they were concentrating more on the aircoolers of which there were about 140!
The Tasmanian watercooled scene was represented by pologti and myself and one of my customers with a Mk4 solely. No Mk1s apart from 2 mainland entries. No Mk2s or 3s! Pretty poor but I sposed I am not shocked.....
Nothing surprises me these days. Well next year there will be at least one mk4 and my own Mk5 missing!
George, all my cars have nicknames, Redgie is red Gti! Gunter you all know, flipper is my flipper blue camper ect. ect....
