This is my 78 Gls.

I'm the 4th owner and it only has 164k on it which isn't bad.

Don't have too many crazy plans for it just yet, just get it low and some rims.

The bonnet was like that when I bought it.

i use the direct link or image, it doesnt matter. just make sure when u reply to post u put the code in the image box... little icon that looks like a mountain with a sun above it in a box. hope this helps.

ha i looked at this car too. it was for sale at euro motor works in ivanhoe a few months back. he wanted $2500 for it back then. what did u pay for it?

this belonged to a guy called steve i just missed out on it he has a 2 door ls same colour tucked away but its been pulled apart although its a very straight and good shell

btw congrats its fantastic looking car with great potential would kill for such a good example

This Mk1 looks pretty mint. GLS too!

Can't really see any rust spots in the usual visible places. Still has the factory looking rear hatch chrome/plastic trim.

Mint interior! Seats haven't pulled there pleats apart either. Dash hasn't sagged & instrument cluster panel paint hasn't rubbed off. Passenger parcel shelf looks straight. No speaker holes cut into the door trims.

Wish I knew about it.

Really would like to see this one in person I reckon
