    Hi all,
Pete from UK, a reli of mine lives in brisbane.
I have a mk2 golf 1986 1.6 on 48,000 original miles with fsh, fully refitted nearly everything new and now locked away
I Have a South african mk1 golf 1.3 1997, 70,000 miles which is my daily drive, this also had everything running gear etc wise replaced for new.
Now have another mk1 golf 1982 70,000 1.5 gl which i am in the process of restoring.
All cars were standard when i bought them, hope you like.
    best wishes
    Pete

Very nice leather in the MK2. I reckon the rear wiper will go round another spline to sit right at the bottom of the window, to finish off the back end.

I like the X reg one, not too many X platers on the road at all.

Still not made my mind up about the citi golf, if they had done a 3 door it might have swung me.....

Could you not have bought a suspension kit for the price of 4 shocks and springs?

Hi thanks for all comments, hope to make friends here and to help others and learn alot.
For what it would had cost me for a suspension kit i got the lot in pic shown on trade price's, i forgot about the rear wiper on mk2, that is an older pic, i since replaced it with a fiat punto rear wiper.
I love my 5 drs as the doors are lighter and tend not to hit other cars or walls lol getting in and out, plus i have 2 children, so i have to compromise.
                Best wishes
                Pete
