Righto!
I promised I'd post up about this & what was only to be a trip down to the country drags, turned into one epic coastline cruise as everyone's favorite **** stirrer "Preeny" had never seen country Victoria, the coastline or ever been down the Great Ocean Road.
So we thought why not just make an entire day of it & become tourists for the day! haha
This is going to be a long one with plenty of pics of not only the drags but also some great scenery!
It started out with basically all of us (Dom, Preeny & myself) waking up with some sore heads after a heavy night on the booze. But we still managed to get up early, fill up our guts & the car & make the trek down to Warrnambool for some 1/8th mile country drag action.
Oh yeah. Sorry no VW content apart from the mk5 TDI that held us up on the GOR! haha
I decided to leave the mk1 at home as it's been a temperamental old mole at the moment & having a boost hissy fit. Plus the VN is alittle bit more comfortable & handle just as good if not better than the little 76er. You may laugh at that comment, but I reckon I can easily challenge it!
I'll try & comment on some pics as I go, as some of them had some funny stories behind them.

Heading down a old road & into a paddock of the country 1/8th mile

Even though it was along way out in the stick's for most, the event brought in some big named people in the burnout stakes, with $1000 up for grabs!
Also the amount of fast cars out this way was unbelievable, with plenty of wheels up action, even from a big burly bloke on a Harley!
