Yeah dude, were just going to put in the 9a in it for now...cause this heron motor is crying.

Then, after the 9a is done...it will be time for the 16v. (:

Me and Dad have been mucking around with the little rabbit lately.
couple of weeks ago, we brought the Schrick 288 cam.
                  ...and today....we put it in.
the cam is nice and lumpy too on idle.
also got a adjustbal cam gear in there to cause it was just collecting dust in the garage.

                    288. Totally oversized and impractical for the engine. NICE!

                      The joys of shim's!

I reckon the 288 will have some nice power after 4200rpm!

Try & start with the cam pulley in a neutral position first. Then play around with it.

You'll notice a massive difference if you fully advance it & fully retard it!

I think I ran my 270 a couple of degrees retarded on the race track to help with top end power & top speed.

But on the street I ran it alittle bit advanced to help with low down torque with driving around in traffic etc.

Nice to meet your old man at the Jamboree too!

                      Had a good old chat.

Thanks for the comments Jarred and Tim.

Yeah, she make's pretty good power after 5000rpm right to 7000rpm.

We are going to play around later on. (:

Dad said pleasure to meet you. He told me everything about it. (:

                        Cheers,

                        Gordan.
