If the Melb boys can make the 1800km round trip to Sydney for nats, you can make the 700km round trip!

Pulled the rear door cards (both) on Tuesday afternoon. (turn out the winder on this car doesn't have a screw under the collar, it has a cap on the front (which was hidden by Alex's paint), after removing the cap, you then access a screw that holds it to the winder stalk.
Thought I'd add a picture of what Aaron was talking about
85' MKII GOLF GTI - GTI 85T - First cruise was 4000km in 2.5 days. It's Evolving!
Apart from this only other thing we looked at was the center arm rest that was dodgy as hell, it has now gone... the mounting bracket still needs to be removed though.
Not going to be putting the arm rest back in, it was to bulky and annoying to be honest. Thinking of adding some sort of box there and putting a cigarette lighter plug there so we can charge phone, GPS, laptop, whatever since there isn't one in the dash.
Random spot I know but people in the back will have access to it then as well and if it gets to annoying we can add one in the dash when we get around to fixing a few things on that.
Any Thoughts?

Also I'd really like to see this thing at Nationals this year! Is it going to make the trip?
edit: 5500 posts WOOT
These are not the greatest photos, there from the day after we got back to Canberra. Haven't done anything to the outside (Save for that one door handle), mainly focusing on the inside as per Aarons posts.
As for nationals, should be able to come up. Its on the Sunday which is my only day off, so a day trip up shouldn't be a problem unless something pops up at the last minute.

Its not going lower, the roads around here ain't 'the sh*t'... there just sh*t! I want to be able to drive at a normal pace, not 10km/h dodging all the bumps.
On a side note:
Filled up petrol again in the car 44 litres in a 38 litre tank
Anyway, went into pay and the small guy who works there goes;
"Judging by the fact that you have filled up here 3 times now I'm going to say your from around here, not Western Australia like your plates say? Maybe one day you can take me for a spin?"
I felt like saying "Good boy" and patting him on the head, he really is that small. But I was cut off by the Indian next to him;
"It's Mmonday, not Oneday! Stop paying me out!"
Most amusing because they then forgot about me and argued with each other until the manager came out and told them off.
