Hey! I remember seeing your car at Boris' picnic thing early December last year. You were the one doing donuts in the dirt with a RC car too right? Anyway, I was marvelling at how great the car looks but I had no idea you had a WRX engine in it. Like the wheels too, though I reckon it looks better with the Porsche Fuchs now that I've seen your photo gallery!

crazy beetle by the way! that wrx engine seems to lend its self to a lot of conversions.

Howdy mate, i'm a member of the Porsche club too. Have 2 of those little glass trophies now, I've only competed in the Motokhana's in the associate class ( only a handfull of assoc turn up for the skid pan days. So the trophies are nearly handed to me by default, hehe. The lancer holds up pretty good though http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1587398 ) But am often at the track days helping my mate with his STI. Noticed your dub there last year, sounds very nice! Will be at the oran park track day helping out later this month. Might catch you there.

                        Hi Hilton,
Yeh the Porsche club is great! I've been with them since 2000. They were a little funny when I first turned up with the vw, but they have come round now.
I'll probably be there at Oran Park, I'm not doing that many this year as I'm entering in the Dutton rally at the end of May.
I really need some R-spec rubber to hang on through the corners as the street tyres are gone after 1 lap. I'm told that R-spec tyres can be good for up to 3+ seconds a lap!
                        regards

AYeah the R-specs are the way to go! lot of thge guys are running Bridgestone RE55s, they are street legal (JUST!!) and have unreal grip levels on the track, you definately take a few seconds off per lap with a set.

                          Dutton Rally would be awsome!!
