Nice cars. Love the R32 GT-R and the HR31 - I always wanted the Jap import of the R31.

tomtom, why'd you get rid of the GT-R?

For the fellow closet bogans; here are mine:

My first car when I was 18, started stock and then spent too much time and money on it. '94 ED, changed from auto to manual, bigger cam etc. Lots of fun and pretty quick.

Second car felt like a step back lol. It was an original 5-speed EA S-Pac with Recaros and some other bits and pieces. This thing used to haul some arse too. I felt like a bogan driving it so I only kept it for a month or two before I got the GTI.

                  First car:
92 Laser Ghia. All the options pretty much, power windows, power mirrors, 1.8L engine, sports exhaust (not a wanky exhaust but it had a noice note to it ). Had just over 300,000kms when I traded it in. It was a great car.

                  Second car:
2008 Hyundai i30 SLX CRDi. Bought brand new, but had nothing but problems with it so got rid of it with just over 4000kms on the clock. Damn shame because it was a nice car.

                  Current:
                  2007 2.0 TDI MKV.
Which I absolutely love!!! Beats the pants off the Hyundai in every way.
                  I took this pic today.

                    Awesome pics everyone.

It's great to see how we've transitioned from such different character type cars to the simplistic stylings of the VWs.

I absolutely love the R32 GTR since I was in High School, played Gran Turismo which intro'd me to the love. Made a goal with my mate that I will get a GTR before 23 and he'll will get a S4/S5 RX7. We were both able to meet our goals. But my GTR was old and spent so much money which left my pockets empty. Decided sell it and move on. Mate has a S4.5 RX7 daily driver after several rebuilds decided to keep as too much money was spent on it already no worth to sell.

                    Keep em coming!!!

                          Ok.

My first car was a 94 Hyundai Excel( The last of the boxy ones) great car for a 17/18yo that was given to me when dad retired. Had many first in that car...

My second was a 1994 VS Holden Commodore Executive, the first car I bout myself a week after finishing Basic Training, that I slowly added to, and played around with.
I dropped it on FE2 suspention, added Chaser rims, a decent stereo, Lukey exhaust and a pod filter. It was a great car too.
My 3rd car, and first brand new car was a Black 2004 Holden Barina SRi.

It was the car that got me into fun hatch's, and I had alot of fun driving it.
The only real mods I did to it were a straight through exhaust, BMC Panel Filter, and Semi Slicks. A very fun car that surprised alot of people that came up against it.

My current car that I traded the Barina for is my 2007 Polo GTI.

I have done a heap of work to it, and the modifying bug has really bitten me!!
I have done all the work to it myself, other than the APR V2 Stage one tune, and painting the wheels (big thanks to Kadena for that!!).

First car when I was 16, on my old man's recommendation - 1977 corolla. Tough as nails but had about 3 HP, terrible suspension and teeny tiny brakes:

Second car, once rust had sent the corolla to heaven, 1985 sigma. Great car, 3 speed auto so still slow as dog****, but it carted me around for a few years while I was at uni.

3rd car, graduation present to myself was a 1994 Astina. Great looking little car. Had a slight tendency for snap oversteer thanks to the fat whiteline swaybar I installed.. and my current polo is hiding in the background :
