Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

few ideas floating about, as always. For the moment, I'm just going to concentrate on the big list of little things. I'm pretty (in fact very) happy with it as is.

Oh and did you respray yourself? I've just wrecked a panel which I reckon gives me enough reason to start respraying my car...so if you did it, I'm coming to ask for advice!

                        Yea I sure did Mickey.
Have a browse through my 2 threads (the GLD and 2 door) there's a bit of info there, anything else feel free to ask. (in another thread maybe ) I also remember there was another thread I put some info in a long time ago, someone else was asking about painting.I thought about doing a DIY for re-spraying/painting, but I'm mearly an amature! Maybe when I start working on the viper, i'll do some DIY body work and painting stuff. maybe.

Nice transformation. That stance suits those wheels (but not the stock rims).
