Get some stickier tyres on it and you'll be laughing your way to 13's.Originally posted by adzy View PostYeah bro just an APR S1 tune from Dean at Volkspower, thing is one of my runs I hit 100MPH so a lower time should be possible
U have Mickey Thompsons?? U crazy man lol. If u head up let us know, always keen to do more runs
Haha, yeah they're M/T ET streets, which are DOT approved so they're road legal which is good for Street FWD comp. Car should have about 200kwatw when it's up and running, so I'll take all the traction I can get! I'll be aiming for Nov-Dec at Heathcote, so I'll put up a thread when I'm sorted

I want to keep my eyes open for some 15 or 16" cheapy wheels (even steel ones) that i can put some sticky rubber on so i can have a bit more side wall to flexOriginally posted by Mika View PostGet some stickier tyres on it and you'll be laughing your way to 13's.

Youre gonna struggle to fit smaller rims around your 312mm brakes. 16" would be the smallest but you would probably have to be careful with the calliper clearance

Good point, you are right... 16" is the smallest diameter that will clear the callipers on the GTI.Originally posted by Tim View PostYoure gonna struggle to fit smaller rims around your 312mm brakes. 16" would be the smallest but you would probably have to be careful with the calliper clearance
That would be fine though.... now the search
