  • New car, sorry guys

    Hey all,

As much as I looked for a good vdub, I couldn't find one I really liked, so picked this up instead. It's a Pug 206 GTi Rallye, completely stock, gave it a cut/polish/wax by hand today.

Please don't hate me! I'll be back later in life I'm sure.

Looks mint mate. What happened to the old MkII?
If you're keen on sticking around keep an eye on the meets and stuff like that. You're always welcome to come along.
    Cheers,
    Trent

Awesome, I've met some good people here so will still come to the meets, but am happy to go in my mate's Polo anyway.

I don't think he's got much of a choice in that matter, Trent..

But as said earlier, the car looks brand new. Barely a swirl mark to be seen (even in direct sunlight).

Nice, I wouldn't mind a pug. Love the handling of the 206 GTI, ie even stock. You are going to Love it.

Cheers guys, hopefully I've made a good choice, I'll find out over the next few weeks I spose.

I looked at Clio sports as well, but couldn't justify the extra $5k on top of what I paid for a pretty similar package.

I've been contacted by the Jmac equivalent on the pug forums, the dude lives 10minutes from my house so I've got that area all sorted yay lol

Na I didn't, but doing some reading the owner's are all pretty happy with them. They were a bit above my budget, plus this is powerful enough for me.

Nice pick up. I was looking at 206 GTIs originally but preferred the Golf. Happy motoring!!
