Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

                          awesome!
V.Clean example, love the retro brown
I recon slam it on some wide cheese cutters (stockies) with mudflaps and just roll it like that... PERFECTION

and I spy a KTM in the background (is it a 2stroke?)

Yeah,2 stroke 300,bought in January and it's done 57 km.
Broke my wrist 2 days after I got it while riding my stupid push bike still recovering and haven't worked or ridden since.

The Golf isn't really mine,as I gave it to my son,I'm a caretaker till he gets Licensed
then I'll have to let it go
I'll just fix it all up while he learns and leave it up to him to do what he wants later,
maybe, in a few years,it would make a nice Father's Day pressie.

Anyway, that's why I'm looking for my very own mk1
