Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Looks good, woodgrain is kind of outdated. Nice touches.

Where did you get the .:R dead pedal? I want one for my Mk5 R but they are uber expensive .

              cheers,

My serial OBDII cable arrived today so I reprogrammed my CCM tonight to enable the DWA siren that I installed before Christmas... all working perfectly.

My next trick will be to enable auto up/down for the rear windows from the driver's door controls.

I also have an intake kit on it's way from the US of A, will hopefully have that in a week or two.

Well unfortunately the only mk5 dead pedal for the R is from VWmaniacs and is over $500 from Japan , and illegal so not always on the site (R logo copyright crap). Was wondering if the Bora one would work.

Your bora is looking oh so nice! All you need now is the R Line bumpers and you have yourself a Bora32...

I was looking at TMtuning and their range of interior trims just this week as well, now I know how good it will look, thanks for the heads up!

very oem+! lol, love it though, it's working together very well and dare I say lower it (more) and purchase some spacers if you get a mean stance on that thing it'd be the cherry!

                            No worries

Today I finished installing and enabling my OEM DWA alarm siren. Man is it loud!

I plan to get an OEM interior monitor set up sometime in the future to finish it off...
