Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Looks awesome, I'm with GTIGRL a red pin strip up the bonnet about an inch inside the edge of the black stuff.

PLEASE NO CHROME WHEELS, deffinately not a european look IMO.

I like it it. When I was looking at buying one, this is what I had in mind but in silver. Look's mean.

Black out the VW & GTI badges & follow the red pin striping up the bonnet.
Tinted front number plate lens too!

            What's next? Coilovers?

That looks wicked Tim, gives me ideas for crazy black and white paint work with red pin striping on my mk2.

Get those number plate surrounds I told you about to finish the look off nicely.

Also, are thin euro style No. plates available in Tassie yet?

                          If so, you should hit-up a set of those Rob. They are the B U S I N E S S.
(Poor Rob. Everyone’s telling him what he should and shouldnt do.)

                            Number plate suroounds

The surrounds on Andrew's GTI really make a big difference. I'd never thought of it before. They're on the shopping list of future additions to my TDI.

Very sweet Rob. Red stripes will set it off.
