Sticker

Lots of potential. Nice to see the sticker on the hatch window
When she's regoed it would be nice to see a vwwatercooled sticker there too

Was sad to see it go, but am glad it's going to a usefull home and I think it still has a lot more fun left in it. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Tried to jump start it yesterday, and smoke cam out of the engine bay somewhere.
Will start stripping it down, don't intent to rego at this stage. Will remove all non essential components, and try to get its weight down.
Cage, new buckets, wheels. Engine/box transplant, fresh paint.

Love the twin headlights but should I go the single and badgeless?

Nice wheels, they look like multi spoke mini lites. Still gotta get out the angle grinder, I wanna see some lexan windows in this baby.

That's awsome im so jealos i wanted that Mk1 so much but my Mum said no... But hay im only 15 and there's time to go... I like the single light better too and thats less weight... What engine you gunna run??? I hope to see more pics as the car goes along...

Yup I`m glad that car has gone to a good home. One less for me to own

I usually prefer twin lights, but that car looks sweet with one light. However, with your new wheels I`m thinking it would look better with twins.

Is it gonna be a racecar or a road car?

Just mucking around with stuff, waiting for garage to empty out so I can get it in and start stripping it down.
Will be flogging off twins, steelies, seats, carpet, headlining, windows, and engine/gearbox etc if anyone interested in bits.
Talking to couple of suppliers to get some body parts over here to increase its track.
Also scouring around for a 1.8t transplant.
