  • Love VW's - Second Love "The Coops"

Although if you have a look in the first picture, you will see my VW Golf Cab 1995 parked on the side, have a look at my mini coops... he was one bad ass car.

He was the ex-show room model in BMW when they first came out so you can imagine, he was loaded with everything......

The little fella was sported right up and could keep up with the Cooper S.......

Had a little tear when i had to let the little man go.......

    Hi Ronnie,

Thats a pretty cool car, i'm also from the uk and my mate has offered me his cooper S (2003) later this year as he is upgrading, what's your verdict, i know their cool as and handle but more from a mechanical point of view.

I like the fact that if something goes wrong on my golf it can be fixed easily without it having to go to a BMW dealership etc

I may end up keeping the golf but who not sure yet

    Thoughts would be much appreciated

    Gary

That's a groovy little car mate but I must say the shifter looks about....37.9 miles too tall.

        Geeza

Get it checked out mate, the only faults with the earlier Coops were the water pump..... it should have been changed as they were all called back

Apart from that, the cars are solid mate... The engines are solid, the suspension is great as minimal pressure due to it being low to the ground.....

Are you buying it from here?

yeah my mate lives in the city, he has had for nearly 3 years, no issues at all.

I got worried as BMW quoted him $1000 to fix the glove box when i kept opening!

i think he also got it serviced then it got lube-mobiled and they said nothing had been changed (oil filter etc)

other that that i love it!
