Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Little Polo from Finland...

Been seeking and searching all around our forum for any tips and information for a long time now.
I'd like to say that you gyus in the Pogo part of the forum have given me something to think about...
So let,s go to the vehicles...First Polo I owned became to look like this 1,4L 75hp... That was about a year ago, when I decided I'd had to give her up cos she had 150000km on the meter. And yes I bought her new. Then became the freaking GTI. At that time (last spring) the toilet had a few things done to it. Nowadays the toilet is wearing BlueMotion skirts all around.

    Anything else...Well...
This is what I've done under the bonnet:
    • Forge ByPass
    • Forge TIP
    • N249 Bypassed
    • N75J
    • K&N 57i
    • Larger FMIC + Custom piping
    • Vibratechnics Rear Torque Mount
    • Custom Remap
    • Seat Sport Front Strut Brace
    • Self-made Rear Strut Brace
The lowering is taken care by H&R Springs...

Thank you gyus for all your information that I've read on this forum...
Keep it coming... I'm just waiting for the summer to get my Parabols under the toilet...
Oh the PocketRocket it pushing 231hp, if anyones asking...(crank probably?)

Looking good, ViLus. It sounds as though you've done quite a bit of work on the Polo. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you all for the welcome...
Parabols (as we call them in here up in the north[read Europe]) are coming under the toilet...
It's just that we have this little thing called winter here so thats why I've got the OEM wheels rolling under her for now with the winter tyres... I'm just
looking forward to the summer and the track days..
Parabols will be rolling under this toilet, unless someone will give me a really good bargain on BBS LM's or RH ZW1's..
Pics with the polished Parabols will be coming whilst the time (spring) comes(and we will now longer have this eFFin snow)...

If anyones interested here is a little welcome to my world...
Sorry there's no reindeers and Santa Claus...
