Those Type 3s are beautiful, but I always wonder how how they are Classic Historic rego. Volkswagen never produced cars like that, so they are not Hostoric.

I had my Golf on CH plates for a while, it doesn't need to be standard to be Classic Historic. Just needs to be more than 25 years old as I understand it.

Yes. I think thats about right. We have SI plates. (special interest) Your car has to be 30 yo or if its a competition vehicle it can only be used for that.Par 6 Golf GTI. Coilovers, BBS CH Wheels, APR'd

You have to have your log book filled in before you go anywhere, date, start mileage and where from. I got pulled up in my beetle at 6.25 am once. They ran to the car and requested my log book. I had already filled it in but with the previous days date. They read the riot act to me! Also, in Tas you can only do 50 days and 5,000 kms max per year. Half price rego though
