First car, Mk2 GTi

Its bout time that i show off my new GTi. Bought it last week from melbourne and took it back on the spirit Its a 1990 build GTi, 118,000km, 17" Lenso's,
2 1/4" custom exhaust system from kat and a sound system with 4 6x9's and a 12" sub Here some pics for yous, still needs a bit of work but its gettin there






Oh and btw its not a 16V, ignore the 16V badge

The 8v isn't the quickest of cars though, plus I'm still on my Ls for now so have only ever given it a boot once.

No, having an underpowered car as your first car is never a bad thing in my experience...

Beautiful car mate, congrats. Just get rid of the xmas lights and the stripes and it will be awesome!! Get yourself a pair of nice clear/red or tinted/red lights

Hey mate,

Thanks for the kind words, ive done some work since ive had possesion of it, ive replaced the wierd tail lights with original ones. The stripe is still on there coz it actually suits the car when you look at it in person. Also build myself a new speaker shelf as the original was falling apart Here are some pics i took today

Haha yeah its on its way mate, getting some KYB shocks with 30mm H&R springs from germany. Will get some pics up when that is done. Will look heaps better
