Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Welcome Safak, great to see another Cupra owner here even if you are on the other side of the world!
your car looks great for her age, you must take good care of it.
What do you think of the raceland headers? Did you notice any significant difference in the way the abf responds?
Cheers

Thank you Cupra
My car is now 75.000kmits nice...
My english is not good, sorry
Raceland headers is nice... because is copy of Supersprintmethinks all Racelands copy from Supersprints. I bougt from USA ebay and it was so cheap.
(golf mk2, mk3 and cupra same)
I think, good exhoust sistem is necessary for ABF...
High RPMs are accelerate...especially after 4000rpm...
installation is hard, you need take down the travers...
But ı need 52 or 60mm full exhoust sistem...maybe next month... I use stock 48mm now...Headers last out is 60mmLast edited by SiLe-R; 21-01-2009, 12:27 PM.

That must be one of the last made in that shape. I always liked the ABF engine in my old MK3, a responsive unit and very flexible on the road.
Were the gauges by the gearstick standard?
