GTIGRL took me shopping yesterday!

Don't know my way around Melbourne at all so I ended up following gtigrl. Ended up in a little alley and I ended up buying 8 of these BBS CH wheels. Little bit more offset than the standards and will end up a lot more difficult to clean, Buggered if I know how you can find all those little alleyways girl! Thanks very much for getting me there. Your turn next to buy some wheels for the polo now!

Yeah, 17s. I would have liked 18s but the budget wouldn't tretch that far. And yes, the tyres copped the biggest caning on sunday at Sandown,(see GTI day report) but they held up pretty well. The instucyor was wizzing up the back straight at around 180/190 km/h and pitching it into the left hand sweeper without braking. Felt fantastic and I am surprised to have any tyres left with the amount of laps it did like that with passengers. Ask gtigrl, she was in the back at one stage. 18s do look great, eventually I will lower the thing and it will look better. Not sure whether to sell the other wheels or stick a set of Advans on them for special days?..... Cheers, Andrew

Almost regret the 17s already but yep, if its dropped a bit it will look better. Love my car!
