Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • My MK3 GL

Well I'd always thought I'd give the car something good before I put it up for sale, considering I have bought a low km VR6 to fix up over the upcoming months. The pictures were taken by a professional photographer named Brad Scott and here they are.

And here's his site http://www.motifphotography.com.au/ and email info@motifphotography.com.au if you have any more questions about that session or anything else for that matter.

... Now, who wants to buy it !!

Haha man if that was a VR I'd consider selling mine for it. It's immaculate!! You're making me very very tempted to sand, smooth and gloss my black trim... Stick that on a glossed white car and it SHOULD look good lol.

How much did you pay for the shots if you don't mind me asking? They're good shots but surely you could have done that? lol..

Cheers Mickey, I feel the same way if ONLY it was a VR6 As for the shots they were a returned favour and we only had limited time that day he had spare. Most of the time was taken up finding the place, and we were limited by the types of shots we could take since they were people coming in and out of the car-park As for cost for a complete shoot you would have to ask him, but think of it in terms of a normal portrait with your basic sitting fee, and the hours it would take to do afterwards.

Yeah its a great colour, my VR6 is burgundy and I'm not a fan.
