Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Good to know... the polo will never be that low but when I finally find a mk1 it sure as hell will be.

That's right, that's a duckbill! No VR lip for me!

You should NOT go any higher, TVB!! Looks awesome like that, I've since raised the height and mine is where yours is.

Very nice mate, I would hate to drive something so low though as you'd always have to be aware of everything on the road (Like Cat-Eyes)

Makes you a better driver because of it.

I don't know that having to cross even small speed bumps at 45 degree angles really really slowly makes you a good driver. My car isn't even low, but the Vr lip makes it a little annoying to get up and out of normal driveways at normal speeds normal cars can do. It's alright if you are by yourself, but it is a pain for others on the road having to wait for you to straddle driveways and bumps.

Not trying to offend, It's just how I see it. I guess you guys are dedicated to the max with the stances you have. Nice car mate.

now THIS is what I'm talking about...ride heights with no chin spoilers. Those Euro boys do know how to mod a mk3. Time to wind her down a bit more I think.
