  • VR6 updated + MK1

well guys i have the VR back on the road as from saturday. I had to replace the timing chain, replace exhaust valves, guides etc.... but is now running sweet.

caught up with a few friends, one being a mate who bought my old MK1. had a little photo shoot.

oh and also a shot of the polished manifold and the VDO oil pressure gauge with a 42 draft design guage holder.

    cheers
    Eric

cheers Mischa, but i didnt fix it. i may have connected a few hoses etc but cheers to my old man. As he being a mechanic i appreciate his time to fix my car after his work where he has battled with mitsubishis and mazdas lol. He may have taken his time but he did a very good job... he told me he didnt wanna use any part that looked half ok lol, so it should last me a while now.

Always been a huge fan of your Mk1 Eric. Was it that black Mk1 that you ran without any bumpers at one point?? It looked tough as

Thanks for the comments guys. Its always good to get feedback on a car u have spend a bit of time and money into.

Its still not perfect tho. will be chasing a new front bumper bar in a while as mine is stuffed. and forced induction later down the track. then thats it
