Thanks all for your support.
Toady in Adelaide, it was only 37C, so I thought it was good idea to remove the standard "Edition" Alloys, put on the mudflaps and bolt on the new 16" Namib rims with the 205/55X16 Pirelli P7 tyres, ready for our departure on Friday morning for the DOVW.
The new Tommy Bar was used to remove & replace all wheels. This made it much easier for someone who is now too old to be mucking around with this sort of stuff.
As the jack pads I ordered from the USA had not yet arrived, I improvised with what I had available.
Front (first) mudflap on
Front wheel is on.
Rear mudflap is on, rear wheel is going on. In the background is the fan to try to reduce the heat in the carport.

Once you have done a couple of sets of mudflaps it is an easy job Maris.
Car looks good and I reckon you would never do it mate but a set of lower springs would suit it.
Got some GTI shocks and springs here
