i was checking out those works as well, gosh darn such a sexy wheel with lots of wide and dish. What widths will the wheels be with the wider lips? Also where did you get those lips, I'm looking at a set of works but will need widening.

Looking at 8.5-9inch wide.

I was able to grab the lips used on ebay from a guy who rebuilt his wheels. Scored a bargain but only a pair. Theres a US seller on ebay who is selling new lips, not cheap though. Hard to come by being work wheels.

Major service for the R was done and finally installed the BFI Stage 2 Complete Motor Mount Kit. (thanks to Tim @ dubaddictions for sorting the purchase of these).




At first, the vibration in the cabin was quite rough, like a massage chair!.
It's been 2.5 days since it was installed and its wearing in and vibration is getting softer. Wonder how it will feel after a month or so.

Car does feel more planted to the ground on heavy throttle, engine movement is less sloppy, oppose to the stock which wasnt as stiff.

Pulled apart the rest of the Meisters over the weekend. Man it took some time...

Finally loaded the lips and centres into the car.

Outter lips have been dropped off @ Morton and May (Warwick Farm) for polishing

Lips will be dropped off @ Mr Kleen Padstow for sandblasting and powdercoating.

Holy man! This car has looked awesome!

Not a huge fan of the red, but I loved the black on black with the bbs ch wheels!

It is great seeing all the little variations you have done over the period of which you have owned the car.

It's amazing what wheels can do to a car.

Anyway man, I am just adding unnecessary text to this amazing thread with awesome photos, so i'll stop typing about how good the car looks

The new wheels should be something different but personally I loved the look of the black CH's.

Yeah I got bored of the red but have yet had time to remove them off the aristos.

At present still rolling around with the CH's. Getting some new lugs so I can whack on some 20mm spacers in the rear (currently 15mm).

Regarding the meisters, i'm considering getting the lips to be deeeper. from the current 2"/2.5" to around the 4" mark.
Going to get the measurements sorted and get in touch with the mob in melbourne. White Horse Industries Metal Spinners and metal spinning - Whitehorse Industries Melbourne Australia.

Anyone dealt with them with their wheels?

Btw: My car is going to hit 200k kms soon. Man she feels great, one tough cookie...
