Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

And yes I know it needs to go lower still, waiting until I have sorted out new lips, tyres and arches, and then Ill drop it accordingly

Ah ok, they look like they sit pretty flush but I guess you can probably tell better when the car is lowered more. Are you going to get 8 inch barrels for the back?

They sit quite nicely actually, but still not poking

Going a new 1.5" lip on the front (so will be 7.5") and 2.5" lip on the rear (8.5")

Ah excellent to hear, I look forward to seeing them on. Roof racks look good on your car especially due to the silver. I put mine back on recently after straightening them and they're certainly a cool look for the MK3, I still want the farthing/Wind-deflector

Ive been slack and haven't updated any pics lately!!

Changed colour of wheels, something different and wacky, and now rocks a full VR interior and thats about it really!

                              Few pics from Adelaide DOVW

Front lip was pretty much on the ground, but I cant drive with it on
