I'm the proud owner of a brand new 2016 T6 with leather seats in the normal 7 seat configuration, problem is I never wanted the 3 seater bench seat in the back because I'm a surfer who hates roof racks and just want to put my boards inside the car down the middle aisle. It's annoying that VW won't be flexible and allow this option but I guess they don't sell enough of these vehicles in Australia.
I read an old forum article where someone successfully traded their bench seat for 2 captains seats (also called pilots seats) . My ideal scenario is a swap like for like ie grey leather twin seats for my grey leather 3 seater with someone who wants to turn their 7 seater into an 8 seater , but I would also consider buying 1 or 2 seats or just selling my 3 seater on its own. Any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated. I've advertised on gumtree and eBay without any success the last month. Thanks guys
