T5 Caravelle identical to Multivan

Hi. I'm wondering if there is anyone on this forum with a T5 Caravelle that is identical to a Multivan - like me? My '05 Caravelle has 7 seats - 2 x rotating Captains chair in the middle row on rails, bench rear row on rails. I also have a foldable table for the middle (lengthways) rails. It's just like a Multivan except for the tailgate badging, 'Caravelle' interior lights where you step up into the van, and user manual. Maybe the first Multivan configurations were sold as Caravelles? Curious to know more. Cheers.

Your Caravelle is likely to had been either privately imported from the UK by its previous owner, or the previous owner just changed the badging. You might be able to figure this out by perusing compliance plate on the car or the log book.

Here in South Africa we only get a Caravelle, Kombi and Transporter variant. Yours might be imported, sometimes VW uses different names for the same product in different countries.
