Chris Thomas over at Nerang Commerical centre (Gold Coast VW) (I know its not Tweed Heads, but its close) he is very experienced in VW Commercial Vehicles and knows his stuff inside and out, only guy I'd ever trust to work on my Commercial VW's. Might be a good idea to give them a call and get into contact with him, believe me it's worth it.

Thanks so much for the reply. I am absolutely disgusted in the lack of experience/knowledge in simply diagnosing the problem.

3 weeks at VW and i am no better than i was broken down waiting for a tow truck.

I will give Chris a call first thing this morning.
