....or the rear air cond units from ex ambulances?

Do you know if the units are stand alone, or just an outlet supplied from the main unit up front? I'm wondering if they have their own compressor unit and how they are powered.

Immediate interest is because I just bought an ex-ambo and have not been into the rear much, yet.

The rear unit is semi stand alone, it is run by the same compressor and condenser, but has it's own
evaporator, expansion valve, blower fan, and rear outlet.

Thanks for the info. I'll find out more, of course, but I'm working out just what changes to do in the rear (camper conversion) and will just leave the rear aircon installation as it is.
