The T4's steel bellypan is hardly a bashplate! I'd say a heavyduty plastic undertray probably offers as much real protection as the bellypan does, have seen them smashed up into the transmission on T4 Syncros before!

I would make the steel bash plates if at least 10 people would be interested and were willing to pay a fair price. Let me know who would want one and once we have 10 people in I'll make one for my T5 and post the images. You tell me if you want the steel or aluminum one. Other underbody skid plates could be made if we have the samples.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

Not yet, struggling with the time, but I cut the template and only need a free day during the week to go and get the Al plate, cut it and fold it, the rest can be done during the weekend.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

Is there any progress here? I'm interested in a bash plate for an MY12 Transporter.

No progress, general luck of interest and the places I drive to I really don't need it, so it's quite low on my priority list.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link
