17" Steelies for a steal!

I stopped into a tyre shop my mate works at to get some prices on new tyres. There was a guy in there paying for some new 18" mags and tyres he just had fitted to his new transporter. We got talking and he offered me his 1500km old 17" steels with Dunlop Sp Sport tyres for $200.

My wheels are 16", so when the old tyres wear out in another month or so the steelies will be going on! I'm going to paint the rims flat back.

That's a bargain mate. They look good, don't they? I'm happy with mine', only if the tyres would last a bit longer on them. I can't get more than 40k km.

I just picked up a set a few days ago. Went into a tyre shop to get a price on new tyres. Customer being served in front of me was paying for a set of new 18" wheels and tyres he had fitted to T32 180ps LWB Transporter. His original wheels/tyres had about 1000 mils on them. He sold me his old ones for $200 AUD, that's about 130GBP for the lot. Talk about right place at the right time.

Been bragging over on the other channel...
