Does anyone have Snowchains for there 17" Alloys ?

235/55/17

I am looking for advice on what to buy.

not sure that would be a good idea - thw VW handbook says only fit chains to 215/60R17 tyres - you would need to check that there was sufficient clearance with 235s.
