  • Brake Actuation to Start T5.2

    Hi Vanners,

New to the T5.2 with Brake Pedal actuation for start up, i have found it very hard to start in the morning to the point that i felt that the battery was flat.

you have to apply massive amounts of pressure to pick up the start up.

Any one else have this issue ?

No, Just have to tap the pedal and she starts. I have noticed that I have to wait longer for the glow plugs to warm up on these colder days.
The engine won't turn over until the glow plugs are heated.
Are you sure it is the brake pedal thing and not the glow plugs warming up?

ditto. colder days on mine (i have to dip clutch) the servo assist start will wait after the key is turned to start the car and I would reckon it will keep cranking until it starts. i turn the key and nothing happens then a few seconds later it bursts into life.
