Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I replaced them with OEM mounts (all of the parts replaced).

Thank you gentlemen, I was hoping that there was some after market adjustable top strut mount that would give some caster & camber adjustment.

      GUV.

I had 700mm from ground to top of wheel arch front and rear then I raised it to 720mm to be safe.

hi. yesterday i picked up a JOM kit like yours for my son's t5, and due to time, only did the rears. i was wondering, did you use the big rubber top mount disc(150mm ish) between the body and the adjustable spring mount? i didn't, and with the adjustable ring wound out for lowest ride height, you can almost pull the spring out. i realize that won't happen with the wheels on the ground, so did you have to wind out the slack?

for the fronts, did you use any literature, some forums started to confuse me when they talked about lashing bits of steel and timber with rope. also, some had different methods, so naturally i want the easiest.
any help would be greatly appreciated
                  cheers
