How much would 225/45/18 load rated tyres be here in Oz?

There is lots of talk on here about the price of tyres, How many Ks do you get and how noisy are your tyres?

I bet these tyres could start a few threads and keep going for a long,long time.

Just for the record I like them as well and sha;; be putting them on my Christmas list .

Think the tyre size is 255/45/18.
This is the standard tyre size vw use when fitting 18's to a MV.

I've got 18,s on my Transporter with this size.
Sumitomo 255/45/18 103w and were about $290 each.

I have some BMW X5 wheels on my Transporter ( Good value 2nd hand and heavy loadrating.), but I think there are some multispoke wheels you can get on top spec Highline MVs like on this new car listing below. They also list the Dakar wheels on the VW Australian web site, but you are right I have never seen these fitted to a MV in Australia.

I like those wheels on the blue highline. I also like like black wheels on a car/van but those on the 25th Anv model just dont do it for me.

also depends on the car, the 132kw has f-off big brakes that don't fit inside some 18" alloys.
